    Netoji Palkar was born in the small village of Chouk in Khalapur, Maharashtra, India, into a MarathiChandraseniya Kayastha Prabhu family.[3] Netaji's father held a prominent position as a major Jagirdar in Western Maharashtra under the Adil Shahi dynasty.[4]
